Cristiano Ronaldo Issues Ultimatum to Al Nassr: Sign Target or I Leave

Ronaldo has demanded for one thing to make him extend stay at Al Nassr

In a dramatic twist to his ongoing contract negotiations, football icon has reportedly laid down an important condition to Al-Nassr to sign Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho this summer.

This alleged demand positions the Portuguese superstar as a key decision-maker in the Saudi club’s transfer dealings.

Ronaldo’s has been the subject of intense speculation, with links to various clubs before he confirmed that he would remain at Al-Nassr.

Foot Mercato journalist Santi Aouna confirmed this, stating that Ronaldo would be “the main decision-maker in the transfer market” after receiving “all the necessary guarantees from the PIF to build a competitive” squad.

Following Portugal’s Nations League glory, Ronaldo himself affirmed his commitment, commenting: “Practically nothing will change. Will I be in Al Nassr? Yes.”

Ronaldo gives Al Nassr a condition to stay

However, Spanish website Fichajes now insists that during these contract negotiations, Ronaldo “demanded” the acquisition of Manchester United’s young winger, Alejandro Garnacho, who is expected to depart Old Trafford this summer.

Garnacho has reportedly caused unrest, with a video appearing to show him pushing past a fan during Manchester United’s Southeast Asia tour.

Prior to that incident, the Argentina international had publicly branded the season at Manchester United as “sh*t” and openly questioned why manager Ruben Amorim had not started him in the Europa League final.

Fichajes further claims that Al-Nassr has “activated its radar to sign” Garnacho, with Ronaldo deemed “key to this potential transfer” given the youngster considers the five-time Ballon d’Or winner his “greatest inspiration in football.”

The Saudi club is reportedly “confident that the personal connection will outweigh” the substantial salary they are prepared to offer Garnacho, while Manchester United “would be willing to negotiate his sale if an attractive offer comes in.”

Adding to the narrative around Garnacho’s situation, former Tottenham, England, and Newcastle winger Chris Waddle offered a stern rebuke of the young player’s conduct.

Waddle told online-casinos.com, “Garnacho might look good in training, and maybe Ruben Amorim would want to pick him, but he doesn’t. Garnacho talks like he’s got a million games under his belt.”

Waddle continued, “We know he’s a talented football player, but I think players at his age need to get their heads down, and if they’re on the bench, well, that’s a sign they need to improve to convince the manager. Just shut your mouth, get on with it.”

This alleged demand from Cristiano Ronaldo puts Al-Nassr in a high-stakes position as they aim to build a more competitive team while appeasing their biggest star.
